DVD To iPod Video Converter For XP?
Hi all,
I have a student wondering if there is any free software that will rip a DVD to iPod format on Windows XP. I’m a Mac user, so I’m very happy to be able to use Instant Handbrake for this purpose.
Help, anyone?

IIRC, there is a version of Handbrake for Windows – it’s beta, but it works alright… (http://handbrake.m0k.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=8)
MediaCoder can encode DVD to a number of formats, including for the iPod.

Thanks everyone, there are some good options here.
I love the problem-solving power of the blogosphere. This is also a great demonstration for students, being able to see how being connected to others can really help you in a time of need.
Thanks again.
videora ipod converter does a good job on small to medium files, but seems to spack out on big ones. Try it though, I use it to turn my screencasts into Mp4 ipodable movies.
