History de un Letrero (The Story of a Sign)

· Alec Couros

The following short film was the winning entry in the Fourth Annual Short Film Online Competition.

With a stroke of the pen, a stranger transforms the afternoon for another man in this emotionally stirring short film by Alonso Alvarez.

This is beautiful, complex on various levels, and thought provoking. What a wonderful piece!

Thank you, Alec. That was lovely. I can imagine a lot of discussions stemming from the symbolism in this film.

This short is masterfully done. It shows how the power of word choice and storytelling is so important. Thank you for sharing Alec.

Made me teary eyed. Must getting older and less cynical. Beautiful story. Thanks.

Where do you find these treasures? That was very poignant.

John Larkin

Thank you Alec. Like Dean, that brought tears to my eyes. Cheers, John.

So after trying for two hours to view this and always getting the message that the video was no longer available I posted the message above. And what happens next? The video reappears! C’est la vie.

Neat film. My interpretation:

Encourage others to see what is actual instead of asking them to be something they’re, at that moment, not. Seeing what is actual leads to genuine action.

Wow. Thanks so much for the experience.
