okay i listen to my ipod ALLL the time in class it helps me focus on the teacher and stay focused. I cannot sit in a quiet room and focus i have to have noise and music helps. if my mind has room to wonder it will go out in different directions. i say ipods should be used to benifit some students. grade could improve and others would stay out of trouble. don’t get me wrong there should be some rules with them like no one else should be able to hear them. just for respect of other students and the teachers. i do believe that students should be allowed to have ipods to help them focus it helps some. honestly music helps you learn.
