Farewell to the Expos
Expos administration announced early yesterday that that the Montreal Expos will be moving to Washington D.C. The Expos have always been my team, and I will truly miss them.

Sigh – yep, its sad to see them move on. Although not my fave team, at least their presence meant that my preferred league had a Canadian team.
Salut, Expos!
I always related more to the Expos than the Blue Jays, not so much because I live in Quebec as the fact that they better portrayed the sense of being Canadian. Not as rich as their American counterparts, but with the sprightly fighting spirit of an underdog that never gives up. The small guy that doesn’t give a hoot about glamour and still stands his ground with the best of them. Going against the odds, the Expos always seemed to teach a few things to the pundits. I’ll miss them dearly.
