Nice! Reminds me of my music history professor when he’d say, “There’s nothing new under the sun.” (usually referring to a Bach reference in a 20th century piece)
…or maybe he was referring to the “original” quote from the Book of Ecclesiastes – “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.” Or maybe Shakespeare’s Sonnet 59 “If there be nothing new, but that which is” or…
