This is wonderful, award-winning video.

World Builder from Bruce Branit on Vimeo.

A strange man builds a world using holographic tools for the woman he loves.

This award winning short was created by filmmaker Bruce Branit, widely known as the co-creator of ’405′. World Builder was shot in a single day followed by about 2 years of post production. Branit is the owner of Branit VFX based in Kansas City.

This short, filmed entirely on a cellular phone on the streets of Sydney and New York, was the winner of the Tropfest NY top prize. This film is beautiful, moving, and creative. It is certainly worth sharing.

Thanks to Dr. Patrick Lewis for the heads-up.

The following short film was the winning entry in the Fourth Annual Short Film Online Competition.

With a stroke of the pen, a stranger transforms the afternoon for another man in this emotionally stirring short film by Alonso Alvarez.

This is beautiful, complex on various levels, and thought provoking. What a wonderful piece!

Cool, I made it to round 2 of the Canadian Blog Awards in the Education category.

I’m very happy to have made it through the first round, although I know MANY excellent Canadian blogs that were not nominated. Please vote for the blog you think is most worthy of this award.

I forgot about this, but I have been nominated for a Canadian Blog Award in the Education category. I am very flattered to be in such amazing company (and not sure I belong). There are MANY other excellent Canadian blogs that should be in this list.

In any case, if you think this blog is worthy, I’d love your vote. As Clarence Fisher writes, Vote now. Vote often.
