Blogs, Wikis & WebQuests at NECC 2004

Although I was unable to attend, I noticed some neat presentations posted from NECC 2004 related to Blogs, Wikis and WebQuests.

It looks like Bernie Dodge packed the house with his presentation titled “Blogs and Wikis as WebQuest Tasks“. There are plenty of relevant links here on how one can integrate Blogs and Wikis into these inquiry-oriented activities. It will be interesting to see a few WebQuests developed with these tools thoughtfully integrated.

Also, Anne Davis posted an excellent resource related to Weblogs which specifically targets educational uses. There are some excellent ideas here, and the author provides a great list of examples of where blogs are found in various educational settings (e.g., elementary, middle years, high school, universities, conferences, corporate, etc.). This is great resource!

Also, if you want to get access to other highlights of the conference, check out the NECC Blog from Craig Nansen. There are some very informative entries here.

I really love being able to catch a conference from someone’s else’s perspective … especially when I have to miss it myself.
