So in addition to her fan's driving up the view count - I think there may have been interest in this particular song and subsequent views that drove up the count due to the controversy surrounding it's origins. Most of them I didn't get links to via email from friends or family members, but students who would come to class and say, "Mr. S., you should see this video." My students definitely caught on before I did, but who says learning is a one-way street. I remember seeing quite a few of those videos.
